THE 2006 SAN BRUNO MOUNTAIN HILL CLIMB
DATE AND TIME: Sunday, January 1st, 2006. USAC rules and permit.
Registration opens 8 am, mass start at 10 am, rain or shine.
LOCATION: East side of San Bruno Mt. in Brisbane at the corner of Guadalupe Cyn. Pkwy. and Bayshore Blvd.
COURSE: 7-8% up Guadalupe Cyn. to RH turn into San Bruno Mt. Park to back under
Guadalupe to Radio road with narrow switchbacks and grades of up to 10%. Total distance 3.5 miles.
DIRECTIONS: Southbound 101 to Sierra Pt./Brisbane to west on Lagoon road ¼ mile to junction of Guadalupe and Bayshore Blvd.
Northbound 101 to Brisbane exit 1 ½ miles to intersection of Guadalupe and Bayshore.
RULES: All USAC rules apply. Prizes by category.
Official follow vehicles only as parking is very limited at top.
TIPS: Bring portable trainer for warm up.
Be prepared for extreme temperature swings between the top and bottom of course.
